Inlet systems can introduce ambient noise and is often controlled by baffle systems similar to an exhaust system. This noise on the gas turbine inlet side is usually higher frequency than the gas turbine exhaust and has different challenges. Our acoustical engineers model the entire system to assure the cumulative noise is reduced to meet local requirements.
